Materials: Bedspread Weight cotton thread (size 10) or smaller if you
prefer
Steel Crochet Hook size 8 or 9 (or the size you prefer when using size 10 thread. If using size 20 or 30 thread, be sure to adjust your hook size accordingly.
Ch 83.
Row 1:Dc in 8th ch from hk, * ch 2, skip 2 chs, dc in next ch, repeat from * across. Ch 6, turn (26 sps).
Row 2:* sc in next dc, ch 3, dc in dc, ch 3 * repeat from *, across. Ch 8, turn. (At the end or row, skip 2 chs, dc in next ch)
Row 3:Dc in dc, * ch 5, dc in next dc, repeat from * across. Ch 6, turn.
Row 4:Repeat row 2 but do the scs into the ch-5 loops.
Row 5:Rep row 3. At the end or row 5, ch 5, turn.
Row 6:* dc in next sp, ch 2, dc in next dc, repeat from * across (26 sps).
EDGING
Working around perimeter, do: 3 dc in ends of rows and in spaces across; 7 dcs in corner sps. Fasten off and work in threads and light press with iron a a little spray starch.
